Dr Prabhu Ethiraj completed his basic medical degree MBBS from Bangalore medical college. He followed this up with a residency in orthopaedics at Karnataka institute of medical sciences. During his residency he developed an interest in Ilizarov limb lengthening and deformity correction surgery. After completion of MS Orthopaedics,joined Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College as Senior Resident, consultant in Orthopaedic surgery.later promoted as Assistant Professor.During this period developed interest in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy. He completed fellowship in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy in Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital,Chuncheon,South Korea under Professor Sang Soo Lee,This fellowship included training in all aspects Adult reconstruction and sports medicine trained in Hip ,Knee,Shoulder,wrist , Ankle and elbow replacement and including all types of arthroscopic surgeries.
